There’s Money Available!
The Comunity Shares Booster Programme can allow projects to have their funds boosted by a like-for-like equity investment up to a maximum of £100,000. This means that if we get our act together and run a second share offer we could get a co-investment, which could help to pay for some of the much-needed renovations.
Currently, it looks like we might need about £200k to buy the pub and another £200k to renovate it and remodel the inside to make a pub, café and shop work in an integrated fashion. This will be important when trying to minimise staffing costs.
