PLEASE NOTE: Save The Thorold Arms is no longer an “active” website.
The site is maintained online as a record of the progress and process of a community rescuing its pub from closure in the summer of 2015. Acquisition two years later, followed by extensive renovation and refurbishment, with the pub finally reopening in November 2019.
The pub has reopened as The Thorold and is a pub, restaurant, B&B, shop, and one-morning-a-week even a post office and café.
