Great News!

There are high hopes of getting our pub back.

After a year of negotiation and successfully objecting to two planning applications for change of use to a dwelling, we are delighted to tell you that we have finally managed to agree a purchase price for The Thorold Arms with the current owner of £195,000.

We now have to update and re-issue the Business Plan and Share Prospectus and intend to relaunch our share offering as soon as possible. The aim is to complete the purchase in early summer and, after refurbishment, re-open the pub in time for Christmas.

We hope that you will again want to invest in shares in The Thorold Arms Community Benefit Society Limited, with the aim of regenerating the heart of our villages with a Community Hub incorporating a pub, shop, café and B&B.

There is lots to do, and we will keep you informed of progress over the coming weeks and months.
