We are “More than a Pub”

The Plunkett Foundation‘s More than a Pub programme has granted us £50,000. As you will be aware they have also been instrumental in advising and helping us produce the necessary documentation and processes which enabled us to set up the Community Benefit Society.

They have provided bursaries along the way to help fund necessary expenses including professional advisors and valuation reports.

The grant was contingent on us accepting a £50,000 loan through Key Fund. Both sets of monies are to be used in the refurbishment of the building now that the community has raised the necessary capital to buy the premises.
